Our Story & Founder
Valley Center Insurance Agency LLC was founded by Erik Jensen, a former insurance litigation attorney and insurance adjuster with over 25 years of industry experience.
Before opening the agency, Erik worked directly with insurance claims and litigation, gaining firsthand insight into how insurance policies are interpreted when losses occur. That experience shapes how our agency approaches coverage today — with a focus on identifying gaps early and structuring coverage intentionally.

Erik has been a licensed insurance agent since 1999 and holds a Bachelor of Science from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and a Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law. He grew up in Valley Center on an avocado and lemon ranch and returned to the community in 2002, bringing both agricultural and legal perspective to the agency’s strong focus on farm, ranch, and commercial insurance.
