About Valley Center Insurance Agency

Valley Center Insurance Agency, Inc. was established in 2004 by Erik Jensen. A former insurance litigation attorney and insurance adjuster who has over twenty years’ experience in the insurance industry.

Our goal is to provide our clients with honest, appropriate, expertise in the many types of insurance available. Then to follow-up with excellent customer service. We sincerely appreciate our clients’ business and our team is very willing to work hard to keep it.

Kathy Johnston is our officer manager and personal lines customer service representative. She has been with us since 2006. She also has many years of experience handling the office work for her husband’s grading and excavating business and in hospital administration.

Tony Katzdorn has been a commercial producer with us since 2009. He is competent in handling all types of insurance for your business. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois University.

Cammy Rickey is our personal lines agent, specializing in home and auto coverages. She has been with us since 2015, and brings over fifteen years’ experience in insurance, including claims management.  

Erik Jensen, founder and owner of Valley Center Insurance Agency, Inc. He has a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and a Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law. He has been a licensed insurance agent since 1999.

Rick Restivo joined the agency in 2005 and specializes in the group health, individual health and Medicare policies. He is also experienced in farm policies, home and auto. He has Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Master’s in Project Management from George Washington University.

Maggie Magdaleno is our commercial lines customer service representative. She is bilingual and communicates with our Spanish speaking clients.  Maggie has been with us since 2014. She has many years’ experience working in accounting and the health industry.

Blake Jensen obtained his license in 2016 and is working as a commercial producer. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Whittier College and a teaching credential in chemistry.

Wendy Lyon is our life insurance agent.  She enjoys helping our clients with retirement income planning, including annuities.  Wendy's many years of experience in finance and accounting give her an excellent background to help you with individual and business insurance, including Key Person and Buy/Sell Agreements.

Brittany Jensen is a customer service representative.  She has been training in both the personal and commercial lines departments.  She also attends Palomar College and trains horses.
